Sturgill Orthodontics is thrilled to announce the addition of a new smiling face to our team! In July, Dr. Allison Williams is joining our team as an associate orthodontist.
When selecting an associate for his practice, Dr. Sturgill devoted two years and a lot of care to the decision. Ultimately, Dr. Williams impressed all of us with her integrity, professionalism, and exemplary patient care. We demand only the best for our patients — and Dr. Williams certainly fits that bill.
Let’s meet Dr. Williams!
“Hi everyone! I grew up in the Midwest in a small town called Carmel, IN. My husband, Matt, and I set out on an adventure traveling to Virginia for residency and now to East Tennessee to be with all of you. I love orthodontics because it gives me the opportunity to see amazing patients every day in the best work environment. Nothing makes me happier than when someone sees their new smile for the first time. I’m excited to join the Sturgill Orthodontics family because it is just that: a family. I felt that the very first time I walked through the clinic doors, and I’m grateful to be a part of this practice.”
Some fun facts about Dr. Williams:
What are your hobbies outside work? “You can usually find me walking Mowgli, our Australian Shepherd, hiking some mountain trails, running, water coloring, and cooking with Matt!”
What is your favorite thing about living in Tennessee? “I’ve never lived in a place with mountains in every direction and I cannot wait to explore. Also, being from the Midwest, there’s really nothing like Southern hospitality.”
Cat or dog person? “Honestly, I have a big heart for all animals. I’m biased because of our pup, but I love ‘em all!”
Do you have a favorite band/musician? “The top plays on my Spotify are Mumford & Sons, NEEDTOBREATHE, Dispatch, and one of our all-time favorites, Judah & the Lion.”
Favorite vacation spot? “Hands down has to be Sedona, AZ. We hiked there a few years ago with family. The red rocks, cloudless skies, and breathtaking views were unbeatable.”
